General Rules:
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the departure time of your scheduled cruise. The vessel will leave promptly at your scheduled time.
All guests are responsible for their belongings. There is ample space within the cabin of the vessel to store bags, pocketbooks, backpacks, etc.
If a person becomes unwell/seasick and requests to be returned to shore, Lews Cruise will not give a refund. It is also up to the Captain’s discretion whether or not to return to port.
Cancellations-Refunds-Payment:
There are no refunds except in the case of rain/severe weather conditions in which the Captain must cancel a trip due to weather.
Lews Cruise will not be held liable for any indirect costs incurred by booking a cruise with us.
If the cruise is canceled at any time by Lews Cruise, we will not be held liable for any travel costs, meals, accommodation or any other costs the customer may have incurred.
Credit Cards will be required to reserve and book all cruises. Payment must be made before departure and can be done via cash or check. Typically 15% for the captain/mate is appreciated but not required.
Customer Behavior:
It is required that all customers behave safely and respectfully to all staff, other customers and our property.
If we find there has been loss or damage to our equipment or vessel due to negligence or unruly behavior, the customer will be liable for replacement or repair of the item. Lews Cruise will take funds from the credit card that is held for security.
The Captain and/or First Mate, reserves the right to cancel a trip and payment is forfeited if unruly or unsafe behavior is exhibited.
Weather:
All cruises are subject to suitable, safe weather conditions (the decisions made at the Captain’s discretion). We reserve the right to cancel any trip due to inclement weather or due to a personal nature of Captain or first Mate (even at short notice).
It is required that the customer check their email, voicemail and texts for confirmation which will be made by our office manager before the trip if cancellation is needed.
In an instance where the weather may turn unexpectedly when cruise is in route, it is at the Captain’s discretion whether any full or partial refund is given.
Safety:
Lews Cruise has the right to ask any customer to wear a life jacket at any time.
All children under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult.
Restroom/Head:
All passengers must read toilet instructions and adhere to the proper use prior to leaving port.
Customers will be responsible for any fees incurred if toilet is damaged due to not following clear instructions.
Drugs/Alcohol:
Outside alcohol is permitted. No hard alcohol. One cooler per six passengers is permitted on the cruise. Passengers of legal drinking age may bring beer, wine, “spiked seltzers”, water, or soda. While glass is okay for wine bottles, drinking glasses, must be plastic.
Responsible consumption of alcohol is to be adhered to.
The Captain and/or First Mate reserves the right to: refuse alcohol onboard if he/she deems it to be unsafe, refuse a passenger onboard if they arrive under the influence of alcohol and or drugs and can cancel the trip with no refund.
NO DRUGS OF ANY KIND ARE ALLOWED ONBOARD OF LEWS CRUISE. IF THIS IS NOT ADHERED TO, THE CAPTAIN WILL IMMEDIATELY RETURN TO PORT AND THE TRIP WILL BE CANCELED WITH NO REFUND.
